Subject: FN0973-Invertebrates:

Recreational Prawn and Shrimp by Trap Recreational prawn and shrimp by trap fishers are advised effective 00:01 hours November 28, 2005 until midnight March 31, 2006 the harvest of prawns and shrimp by trap, ring net, or spear while diving, will close in the following Subareas:

  1. Subareas 13-12, 13-16, and 13-18;
  2. Subareas 16-1, 16-5, 16-7, a portion of subarea 16-6 closed south of a line from Kunechin Point True west to a point on the opposite shoreline on Sechelt Pennisula, and Subareas 16-10,and 16-17;
  3. Subareas 17-13, and 17-15 to 17-17;
  4. Subareas 19-7 to 19-12 (Saanich Inlet).
  5. Subareas 23-4 and 23-5.

Subareas are described in the Pacific Fishery Management Area Regulations.
